The OWL is a portmanteau, which is the snotty word for collection, of arts &
letters published annually at Ohio Wesleyan University . We seek to publish
the shapely, felicitous, fascinating, and just downright awesome work of students,
faculty, staff, alumni and friends. The OWL 's architecture (books have architecture, really) is
intended to be as agile, portable, comprehensive and affable as possible.
Which is to say, we want to be able to put in whatever we want, and we want you to read it. While the OWL will continue to publish fiction, essay, poetry, and art,
it also seeks submissions and participation from all disciplines, programs,
and courses of study at Ohio Wesleyan. Even accounting. Maybe. If it can be reproduced, folded to
size and made relatively flat, then submissions might include charts,
maps, spreadsheets, prints, drawings, designs, tiles, graphic novels,
pop-up books. |
